The wrong tank size may kill your betta.

A tank's wrong properties can kill your fighting fish for sale ( betta fish ). This topic is often discussed in the majority of ways. And some folks even dislike this question just by the amount of time it has been asked.

Does it have to be in a way like what I should do the least to keep my betta? It's the same as your parents asking you what the ideal room size we can keep our child in is. Yeah, like, they will be locking and residing us in a closet or storage room.

Some people say that 2.5 gallons are the perfect size for a betta tank, and a lot of people see this and buy a 2.5-gallon tank, and still, they do not see any difference in the behavior or way of living of their little betta.

Think of betta as yourself; you can easily live in a closet, right? Even if you are happy and healthy. But what is bothering you? What makes your mood unhappy or turned off? Exactly it is the space you need to live.

Tank size

The best possible tank size for a betta is 5 gallons. Or at least a minimum of 5 gallons a tank. Because still in a tank smaller than 5 gallons, maybe your betta will not meet its expectation of living standard or true potential in the medium of living desire.

Betta's lifespan revolves around 2 to 4 years maximum. But in a caged-like space, they won't make it even to 2 years of their life.

Shape your tank

All tanks are not equal. They come in a variety of changes and sizes. If you ever go to the local pet store or betta store, they will always recommend having at least 5 gallons a tank for a betta; there is a reason for this.

And that reason is bettas are active and free swimmers. They do not need conjured space where they can only swim around for seconds, and that's it; they explored every corner of a tank.

Also, the shape of a tank plays an important role. Even in 5 gallons, a tank comes in 2 forms. They are standing conditions and landscapes. The standing body has no advantage rather than being tall and difficult to reach when feeding your betta. Also, they are not occupied with ample space. They are just more profound.

The landscape is ideal for a betta because it allows them to move freely anywhere; also in landscape tank of 5 gallons size will let you put some toys in it, such as rocks, live plants, or even hidden rooms.

Tank lid

The tank lid is the most critical component of a tank and an excellent safety measure for your betta. By nature, bettas are natural jumpers; they jump out from the water when they are happy or swimming actively. So it is advised to close the lid ( if any ) when you are not near them.

And if a tank has no lid, place one on it. Your betta will be perfectly safe under it.
